反思:

本课是六年级第八单元《Our dreams》Story time部分的语篇对话教学,本课以谈论梦想为中心话题,引导孩子们对今后美好生活的期待与向往,以此进一步激发他们的学习动力。

一、以学探究,获取自学能力

课前,我进行了课前预测,提前了解到学生通过预习对单词、短语和句型已达到了什么样的水平和理解力。在此基础上,我再确定我的教学重点,以及我该给学生提供什么样的教学方式,让他们自主地形成自我学习的方法。比如我在教学单词astronaut时,采取让学生教学生的方法,下次或许可以尝试介绍自己是如何学习生词的,这样学生就会形成系统地学习单词和记忆单词的方法。课上我询问学生,当你遇见生词时,会怎么办?引导学生学会查字典,自己尝试拼读,并用尝试英英解释单词。

二、以生为本,发展学生思维

本课由电影《寻梦环游记》导入dream, 让学生思考什么是梦想?通过头脑风暴训练学生的发散性思维,复习职业单词。在处理生词时,我采用英英解释的方式。比如我在教学dentist这个单词时,我先出示句型“A dentist is someone who can ...”,学生就会根据我出示的这个句型,说出很多我意想不到的句型和词汇,用英语来解释英语,这一学习方法不仅丰富了学生的语言量,同时拓宽了学生的思维。以这样的思维方式来学习单词,长期下来,学生就会形成自我学习单词的系统方法,促进了语言能力的发展。

第 5 页 三、以人为本,指导学习策略

整个文本的框架结构都很清晰,主要谈论了男孩们,女孩们的梦想和李老师的梦想。我先带领学生一起学习男孩们的梦想,然后让学生根据板书,理清文本的框架结构,从而以这一框架为支撑点,让学生自学女孩们的梦想。在这一过程中,学生通过讨论、观察和总结,知道如何谈论梦想(从who,what,why,how等方面),从而获取了学习文本的能力和策略。

整节课最后,我设计了让学生说一说自己的梦想,最后写一写自己梦想并分享梦想。最后一个环节处理时,我让学生说一说梦想的时间还不够充分就直接进入写的环节,可以多进行口语表达的训练。
