Abstract: Battery electric vehicles (BEV) are an important member of new energy vehicles. They have attracted much

attention and popularity in China, and their applications are also very wide. They can be seen in cities as well as small rural

areas. As an important part of pure electric vehicles, the car-body has an important impact on the safety and driving range of

battery electric vehicles. In recent years, in addition to traditional high-strength steel for car-body, high-strength, low-density

materials such as aluminum alloys, carbon fibers, and plastics have been increasingly used in battery electric vehicle car-body,

which has become increasingly important role for the lightweight of battery electric vehicles.
