A separate mould is made for every single engine

It takes around 5 hours to hand finish the mould for a

single v12 engine

To minimize the chance of chaps cracks and flaws

A flaming torch blacks the sand mold with a single layer

of carbon

The carbon layer acts as a lubricant

To let the mould metal flow smoothly into the space of

the cast

It’s time the mould is ready
