2022年英语笔译高级翻译易错句:He lives in

the country

the country通常是指“农村”或“乡下”;它是”town”的对语，相当

于”the countryside”。this country则指“本国”或“这个国家”。

在以下句子中，country均指“农村”或“乡下”解，可以和countryside

互换使用。

He has gone to the country to recover.

他到乡间疗养去了。

He is fresh from the country.

他刚从乡下回来。

We have just come back from the country.
