本模块以人探索火星的行为背景引入现在完成时的用法,通过描述人类探索太空的历程强化现在完成时的表意功能。

第一单元是大明和托尼关于制作飞船模型的对话,涉及登月、火星探索等信息。通过谈论新闻里关于宇宙飞船登上火星的报道,两人交换了关于火星上是否存在生命、人类登上火星等问题的看法。

第一课时以培养学生的听的能力为主,并要求学生能够了解一点航天知识,本课时能帮助学生在现在完成时的语境下听懂人类在探索太空方面的文章,激发学生对天文知识的兴趣和对未知事物的探索。

学生在第二模块已接触到了现在完成时,有一定的语法基础。且学生对太空探索话题比较感兴趣。但是由于学生相关背景知识不足,与模块相关知识了解不多。主要通过听前识词扫除词汇障碍,多层听逐步引导学生思考,加深对课文内容的理解。
