Beijing Hyundai Motor Company, also known as Beijing Hyundai, is a

joint venture between the Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., Ltd.

and Hyundai Motor Company. It was established in 2002 with the goal of

producing and selling Hyundai vehicles in China.

Since its establishment, Beijing Hyundai has experienced significant

growth and become one of the leading car manufacturers in China. The

company\'s production and sales volume have steadily increased, and it

has maintained its position as one of the top five passenger vehicle

manufacturers in China for over a decade.

The company\'s product line includes compact cars, mid-size sedans,

SUVs, and commercial vehicles. Models such as the Hyundai Elantra,

Hyundai Sonata, and Hyundai Santa Fe have become very popular in

China. In 2019, the Hyundai ix25 was the bestselling SUV in China, with

Beijing Hyundai selling over 230,000 units.

Beijing Hyundai has also invested heavily in research and development,

establishing its own R&D center in Beijing in 2004. The company has

continued to innovate and improve its technology, collaborating with

leading universities and research institutions to develop new products

and technologies.

Today, Beijing Hyundai operates four manufacturing plants in China and

has a sales and service network that covers more than 700 dealerships

and service centers across the country. The company\'s success has not

only contributed to the growth of the Chinese automotive industry but

also benefited the local economy by creating thousands of jobs and

providing valuable technological expertise.
