The T5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder engine

delivers outstanding performance – producing 260 PS and

350 Nm torque. This extremely smooth engine features

variable valve timing on the exhaust side and a responsive

turbocharger designed to deliver maximum torque from low

and medium engine speeds. Effortless performance is

combined with excellent fuel consumption and CO

2

emissions.

The D5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, 5 cylinder, common

rail diesel engine delivers very low fuel consumption and

emissions with excellent performance – producing

185 PS and 400 Nm torque. This extremely advanced

diesel engine is made entirely of aluminium giving it a

similar weight to a petrol advanced design

combined with third-generation electronic common rail fuel

injection, variable blade turbocharger and a diesel

particulatefilter makes it one of the cleanest and most

advanced diesel engines available on the market. A 2.4D

version with 163 PS is also available.

BI-FUEL

As part of Volvo’s total commitment to the environment, the

S60 Bi-Fuel engine enables you to benefit from the lower cost

of CNG
