increase,strength,raise,rise,arise的区别

promote:[+ obj]

1 : to change the rank or position of (someone) to a higher or more important one

2 : to help (something) happen, develop, or increase

enhance: 侧重指增加价值,魅力或声望等使人或物具有超科寻常的吸引力。

上升,升高,上涨,指有形的东西。如:

可以表示太阳的升起,比如日出:sun rise;在美国英语中,常用rise表示起立或者起床。

arise:开始发生,出现。指有形的东西,常用抽象名词作主语:用在借喻中,无被动态。一般指不好的事情。比如,危险出现了,不好的后果产生了,可以用这个词。与上面两个次只是形近,如:
